NPP accuses NDC of engaging in politics of lies at Assin North

The National Communication bureau of the New Patriotic Party is accusing the opposition National Democratic Congress of engaging in politics of lies at Assin North constituency in the Central Region.

Constituents of Assin North are currently preparing to decide on who represents them in Parliament after their MP, Mr. Gyekye Quayson was asked to stop parading himself as law maker.

The by-election is scheduled to take place on June 27, 2023. Both the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party have been campaigning vigorously to win the seat.

National Communication Director of the NPP, Richard Ahiagbah is accusing the NDC of engaging in lies to deceive the people in the constituency.

He believes the NDC is manipulating the constituents with untruths about the NPP and the Akuffo Addo led government.
He however believes that the residents are discerning enough to differentiate the truth from lies when the time is due for the by-election.

He says, the people of Assin North are wise enough to reject the antics portrayed by the NDC. He believes the NPP will emerge victorious in the June 27 by-election.

“It is going to be an NPP on the 27th”,

he indicated.
