Aggrieved customers of collapsed gold firm, Menzgold fear their embattled Chief Executive officer, Nana Appiah Mensah also known as Nam 1 is up to something with his new release.
Fred Forson, spokesperson of the aggrieved customers indicates in an interview that Nam 1 has never been truthful since their monies were locked. He indicates that Nam one was able to swindle many of the customers when he last announced a validation exercise to payback their monies.
”He was in Takoradi and promised to pay back all the monies of some customers, they believed him but he later ended up swindling them again f their monies,” he indicated in an interview with Connect FM and monitored by bawumiamahama.cm
He indicates that authorities must quickly arrest Nam 1 before he activates another plan to defraud customers.
“Nobody should engage him and that is what we are saying because of that document he brought out. What we want the government to do is to arrest him. What is contained in that document is simply the language of scammers, and we will want the government to arrest him.” He added
In a recent release Nam 1 indicated that he has concluded validation and will soon make payment to his customers.
“Following the gold trading transactions claims supporting documents collection and vetting exercise initiated; we are happy to announce that validation has successfully been completed,” Menzgold said in its statement.
The customers indicate that they have information from the camp of Nam 1 indicating,
“So yesterday Nam1 held a meeting with his people ( names withheld) that they want to print scratch cards at a cost of ghc 500 -600 so that customers will buy to enable them check their names on his so called electronically validation names from the unnamed company in his press release”, it indicated.
