Assin Central Member of Parliament and flag bearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong has officially filed his nomination to contest for the presidential primaries of the party in the November 2023 primaries.
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong was accompanied by mammoth crowd amidst singing and dancing. Most of them were clad in the official colors of the NPP with inscription “Ken for President 2024’ and placards to cheer him up.
They believe Mr. Kennedy Agypapong is the next president of Ghana. Mr. Kennedy Agyapong acknowledged the current economic situation of the country and promised to support all delegates to overcome the hardships.
“Your own has come now, the man who will not just listen to you but will address your plight especially in providing jobs for many of the youth who have grappled with unemployment for years. I want to assure you of my readiness to ensure that as delegates, I will support you in whichever way I can when I am elected as flagbearer of the NPP and subsequently become the President of the country,” Mr. Agyapong indicated.
Mr. Kennedy Agyapong implored the delegates to spread his message to others indicating that the NPP can only secure a win in the 2024 election if the grassroots of the party are strengthened.
