The Korean Government has opened its doors for all International students seeking to pursue higher education in the country.
The aim is to ensure that Korea invites interested candidates from other countries to foster international relationship.
It also aims at ensuring smooth education exchange programs and boost connections between Korea and participating countries.
Currently, the Korean Government and NIIED are calling for applications from qualified international students who wish to participate in the Global Korea Scholarship which was previously known as KGSP or GKS scholarship for undergraduate programs in the 29024 academic year.

All students seeking to benefit from the Global Korea Government Scholarship must hold citizenship of NEIID countries who have been invited to participate in the GKS program.
Students seeking to pursue Bachelor’s Degree programs must be graduates from a high school or any associate degree program.
For students seeking to pursue associate degree programs, must be graduates from a high school. All applicants must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score percentile of 80% or above on a 100-point scale or be within the top 20 percent rank within one’s class or-CGPA must be equal or above 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5.0
All applicants seeking to participate in the Global Korea Government Scholarship should not be above 25 years with good health, both mentally and physically.
This is a requirement needed to study throughout the duration of the program in Korea.
Scholarship benefits include airfare, Tuition fee, and a stipend of 900,000 KRW along with medical insurance.
