Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram constituency, ET Mensah has died aged 77.
The former Council of State member is reported to have died in South Africa where he was seeking medical care.
Information indicates the former MP has been battling with an unknown illness for some time but could no longer hold on to the pain. His death comes a few hours after the death of former first lady, Theresa Kufour was announced.
Enoch Teye Mensah (born 17 May 1946) was a Minister for Education and a Member of Parliament in Ghana from January 1997 till January 2017.
He was popularly referred to as ET Mensah and was married with seven children.
