Sad news: School Feeding Boss, Gertrude Quashigah is dead at 63

Reports indicate that the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP), Gertrude Quashigah has unfortunately died at age 63.

The sad news is said to have happened in the early hours of Sunday. Sources indicate that the deceased has not been well for some time now. She unfortunately could not survive the pain and passed on.

This sad news has sent shockwaves through the education and social welfare sectors of Ghana.

Mrs. Quashigah, who also held the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Ambar Quality Foods Limited, was not only a prominent figure in the field of hospitality but also made significant contributions to the Ghanaian food industry.

Born on the 1st of February 1960 in Dzelukope, Keta, in the Volta Region, Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah had a strong educational background.
