The National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party are vigorously campaigning to get votes from the people of Assin North in the upcoming by-election.
It is unclear which candidate will win the Tuesday election even though many political analysts have tipped the NDC candidate of emerging victorious.
A new poll by the Global Info Analytics in the Assin North Constituency have projected the New Patriotic Party of winning the by-election with a slight margin.
According to the poll, the NDC candidate, James Gyakye Quayson garnered 45.6 percent whilst the NPP candidate, Charles Opoku made 46.7 percent from the total sampled size.
According to the survey, 6.9 percent of the sampled size in the constituency are still undecided on who to vote for on Tuesday.
The analysis also showed that the NPP candidate has squandered a commanding lead, slumping from 57% as of June 6 to his current rating whiles Quayson has appreciated from 38% to 45.6% within the same period.
The by-election has attracted a lot of political activity in the past few weeks. Campaigns ended on June 25 ahead of the vote.
