Issues surrounding the death and funeral of the late leader and founder of the Resurrection Power New Generation Church, Rev. Anthony Boakye have gotten many Ghanaians talking.
Before his demise, it was rumored that the man of God was very Ill. At a point, he was pronounced dead but the rumor was later dispelled. He was later seen on television leading his church in worship but his appearances were not encouraging.
It was later announced that the man of God has died this information also came with its own issues. There have been several rumors indicating his wife broke away from the church with some members to also begin her ministry.
There were as well issues about his funeral after some persons allegedly went to court to place an injunction on his burial.
In spite of all these challenges, family and church members have gone ahead to give the man of God a befitting burial which saw the presence of many important personalities.
It is reported that the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo graced the funeral with his presence since the late man of God was spotted in many gatherings of the New Patriotic Party when he was alive.
Other personalities include Chief of Staff Mrs. Frema Osei Opare, Rev. ISAAC Obofour, Gospel Musician, the Great Ampong, and many others.
The talk of the town now is the plush resting place dedicated to the remains of the man of God.
The exact location of his resting place is currently unknown but pictures available indicate it is situated in the middle of a town.
