The University of Minnesota has currently opened its portal for international students to apply for its Global Excellent Scholarship in the United States of America.
The scholarship is very competitive and as such, students with brilliant academic records are required to apply.
The scholarship is for international freshmen and transfer students with the will to enroll in the degree program at the University of Minnesota, USA.
Fresh international students who qualify for the scholarship can receive $25,000, $15,000, or $10,000 annually for a four year period.
Students who will be selected for the scholarship must present records of a strong academic performance.
Eligible students must be ready to enroll in a full time honors program in the semester at which the scholarship is awarded.
They must also present a high schools transcript and/GSE results, a certified translator will be required if the transcript is not written in English.
Candidates must also have good interpersonal skills and should be able to communicate and work in independently in a structured manner. Eligible applicants must as well provide evidence of meeting the University of Minnesota’s English Language Proficiency Requirements.
