Alan Kojo Kyerematen has pulled out from the Presidential Primaries of the New Patriotic Party which will be held in September this year.
Mr. Alan Kyerematen is said to have stated in a statement that he is no longer interested in the race and hence he will not participate in the contest with the rest of the candidates.
“He is announcing that he has withdrawn. The process is fixed in favor of one person and that is what he has withdrawn from. He has acknowledged the number of people who believed in him but his victory cannot happen with this kind of process. Whatever he decides to do with politics, we shall be here to support him. He is exceptional thinker and has a wide range of ideas so we shall wait for what he has on board’” Yew Boaben Asamoah told Citi News’s Omari Sanda.
“In politics, we cannot stop people from speculating but the NPP is acting with impunity, they make rules and break them. The election was full of violence and the result will not be for the one who has worked hard but I think Alan should be commended”, he added
