A bus carrying trainee nurses of the Presbyterian Nurses Training College at Bawuku has been attacked by gunmen.
The sad news was revealed by the Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga on the Key Points on TV3 last Saturday, January 20 2024.
He indicates that the gunmen launched the attack on the students on Friday January 19, 2024. Mr Ayariga said “It has been confirmed that such an incident happened.”
“The report I got is that the injuries are gunshot related injuries, we will ascertain the full details later.”
A number of students who were injured due to the attack have been rushed to the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.
