An Internal Auditor and the Saboba District Coordinating Director have been confirmed dead in an accident which occurred on the Tamale – Yendi highway.
The accident is said to have occurred in the late hours of Monday August 14 when the two were returning from an assignment in the district.
Some eye witnesses indicates that, the official car of the coordinating director, a Nissan hard body collided head on with a Toyota Hilux vehicle. The two on the spot who were later removed from the vehicle were later confirmed dead.
The two deceased persons are all Gonja’s from Bole and Damongo respectively and their bodies have since been transported to bole and Damongo for burial.
