“My respect for you is gone” – Ajagurajah blasts Rev. Obofuor over alleged affair with Maame Sika

Popular Ghanaian spiritual leader and outspoken social commentator, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, widely known as Ajagurajah, has publicly expressed disappointment in fellow clergyman Rev. Obofuor following reports that the man of God is allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with a woman identified as Maame Sika.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Ajagurajah did not mince words as he questioned Rev. Obofuor’s choices, suggesting that someone of his status and wealth should not limit himself to just one alleged side relationship if indeed the claims were true.
According to Ajagurajah, Rev. Obofuor has reached a level in life where he should not be seeking or receiving advice on personal matters such as marriage and relationships. He implied that Obofuor’s success and influence should naturally place him in a position where multiple marriages or relationships would not be an issue — a statement that has since stirred massive public debate.
“At your level in life, Obofuor, should someone tell you the number of wives you should marry?” Ajagurajah remarked. “I am really disappointed in you. So you only have one side chick? My respect for you has reduced.”
He went on to emphasize that his admiration for Rev. Obofuor has significantly dropped, not necessarily because of the alleged affair itself, but because, in his view, the pastor had only one woman aside from his wife.
“I used to respect you a lot, but my respect for you has reduced,” he added. “Because you are an envious person, you have married only one woman despite the money you have. They said you have only married one woman in addition to your wife.”
Ajagurajah’s controversial comments have drawn mixed reactions online. While some social media users found his remarks humorous and in line with his usual provocative style, others criticized him for appearing to encourage infidelity and polygamy, especially among religious leaders who are expected to uphold moral standards.
The allegations involving Rev. Obofuor and Maame Sika have already been a hot topic in the media space, with many calling for clarity and accountability from the renowned pastor. However, Rev. Obofuor has yet to publicly respond to Ajagurajah’s statements or directly address the affair claims at the time of this report.
The situation has once again ignited conversations about the private lives of religious leaders, public expectations of moral conduct, and the growing trend of personal scandals being played out on social media platforms.
As the debate continues, many are watching closely to see whether Rev. Obofuor will break his silence or take steps to clear the air surrounding the allegations and Ajagurajah’s stinging remarks.
