The MasterCard foundation in partnership with the University of Pretoria (UP) is offering $500 million to African students interested in transforming the continent economically to offer postgraduate courses. Applications for the program are currently opened and interested Africa students can make their entries to grab the opportunity.
Students who have applied for admission at the University of Pretoria seeking to offer courses at the Faculty of Economics and Agriculture, Faculty of Humanities for entry into Political studies, and Faculty of Natural and Agriculture Science will be selected for the program.
They will be trained for a period of time at the University to impact others and help in the development of the continent with the knowledge acquired.
Interested applicants must be Africans with exceptional academic records and should be coming from economic disadvantage backgrounds with evidence of being in financial needs.
Candidates willing to participate in the program must possess quality leadership skills and should be ready to embark on a project that seeks to give back to society.
The MasterCard Foundation will offer full scholarship to selected African students from the faculties listed above.
